Links in our emails

If we emailed you, the link in that email may contain a short personal code (for example ?c=k7f3q2xa). When you open such a link, we record:

• that the link was opened, the date and time, and which of these pages you viewed;
• roughly how long the page was visible, how far you scrolled, and which contact buttons you clicked;
• general technical data such as browser type, device type, and approximate location (country/city).

We use this only to know whether our message was useful and to decide whether, and how, to follow up. These records are collected with Google Analytics 4, which sets first-party cookies (_ga) for this purpose; Google processes the data on our behalf (see how Google uses data from sites that use its services). The personal code is the only identifier we send to Google — never your name or email address. We do not use advertising features. The code is also remembered in your browser's local storage so a later visit to these pages is linked to the same email; you can clear it at any time by clearing site data for so-charming.com.

Visitors who did not arrive through a coded email link are not tracked: Google Analytics is not loaded for them.

Emails you send us

If you email us, we use your message and contact details only to reply and, if we work together, to run the engagement.

Retention

Outreach link records are kept for up to 14 months (the Google Analytics retention setting) and then deleted.

Your choices

Reply "no thanks" to any of our emails or write to service@so-charming.com and we will stop contacting you and delete the related link records. You can also ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it.
